I made this with cannellini and whatever I had in the fridge at the moment lol. I'm a fan of just putting stuff in tomatoe sauce, there's nothing tomatoes and cheese can't make taste good.
Ingredience
- Canned/Hydrated Cannellini Beans
- Tomatoe sauce
- Béchamel sauce (where I live they sell it already made. if you don't have that, rip. swap it with cream cheese or make it yourself)
- Any Tomatoes (small ones are better)
- Champignon mushrooms (frozen is ok) (or any kind of mushroom you like is ok I guess)
- Any kind of Garlic
- Oil
- Salt
- Water
- The quantities are: whatever your heart tells you
Directions
- if you have fresh mushrooms, clean and cut them in slices
- in a (medium-big) pan, fry the garlic with a bit of oil
- drain your beans but leave some water, like a couple of spoons? maybe keep some for later? throw them in the pan at low heat
- add some tomatoe sauce, salt, and some oil, and mix it
- the idea is to make it a little watery so it can cook for longer, add bean water (or just water) if necessary
- add the mushrooms
- cut the tomatoes in chunks or half if they're small or whatever and add them
- taste it. does it need salt? does it need more garlic? oil? minced garlic? mushrooms?
- add a spoon or two (or three) of Béchamel (a real spoon you use to eat, idk what "a spoon" amounts to)
- steer and taste again to add stuff if necessary
- put a lid on it and let it cook, let the juices mix, let the tomatoe sauce cook and then leave it some more
- check and steer it sometmes to not let it burn, add water if necessary. more water to make it soupy
- damn I'm hungry now
