thearistocats: thought i had yesterday - how do we mythologize about the land around us? when i think about the history of spaces and neighborhoods near me i think of ownership and land rights and things like that. i want to uncouple how i think of this from things like ownership and private property. for instance, on the path i was biking, what vegetation was there before the path? what are the species of plants that line the bike path? things like that.
