Hylics is a really weird quirky RPG. Pretty much the entire game is made with actual clay models and photos of the creator's hands over a green screen so it looks really cool and it has some really wacky audio. I dunno what to say, it speaks for itself in the whatever it does, go play it!
Notably less quirky than Hylics above, but this is a great pokemon-like and I'd say the only one that actually matches up to the good originals and innovates on its gameplay loop. Has some really good music too!
Lunacid is a semi-quirky game (certainly less so than Hylics at the top). Inspired by Shadowtower and the Kingsfield Series Games, it is a fantastic dark fantasy dungeon crawler that beautifully tells a story quietly as you explore the depths of the Great Well. There is lots of content to explore with cool weapons and magic spell rings, unique areas and enemies, and even a DLC planned (coming out..... at some point....... definitely).
